Cadillac SRX 2012 Review

Cadillac has officially announced a host of changes for the 2012 SRX crossover, including a new standard engine – General Motors' 3.6-liter direct-injected V6. This powerplant will serve as the only available engine on the SRX here in the United States, replacing both the base 3.0-liter V6 and 2.8-liter turbocharged V6 that was axed earlier this year.

At one point, GM appeared to be committed to building the Cadillac Converj, a stylish coupe based on Voltec. That won't happen and probably for two reasons: the Converj would have competed with the CTS coupe and GM appears ready to roll out a hybrid replacement for its larger STS and DTS sedans.

2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe

Some may call 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe polarizing design, but in an informal survey, it is further away than the enemy fans. What's not to love, after all - chunky-B pillar, the rear of a large, fat fenders, narrow greenhouse - it is a merger of the features that have been reserved for concept cars in the past.
